David Moyes replaced Slaven Bilic as West Ham manager last November and it was expected that he would then extend his stay at the club after steering them away from danger and up the Premier League table.
Slaven Bilic was axed by West Ham’s board three weeks ago after a bad run in form saw the Croatian’s position with The Hammers become untenable, due to mounting unrest in both the stands and the boardroom.
